 What is a Quicken Accredited Trainer?
Accredited Trainers are at the forefront of Quicken support and retail efforts, and are one of the principal links to our ever-growing number of end-users. By becoming a Quicken Accredited Trainer you expand your knowledge of the Quicken product range and allow your clients to benefit by making the way they do business Quicken.Easy.
As an Accredited Trainer, you work with Quicken as a "business partner" and have the peace of mind knowing that you are working with a reputable and established brand name. The Quicken Accredited Trainer status gives you the opportunity to add value to your business.
Please note that Quicken Accreditation is a status awarded to an individual, not to a company.

Courses
The accreditation courses are currently held in Sydney Melbourne & Brisbane.
To express interest in attending, please email training@quicken.com.au. Please mention the capital city which would be most convenient for you in the email. Please note that these courses are subject to change by Reckon Limited.
Applying for the Course
Prior to attending the Accredited Trainer course, each prospective trainer must complete and return the product Pre-Questionnaire. This ensures each individual has the required level of competency in the products before training commences.
Nil Investment Required.
Once you complete and return the Pre-Questionnaire, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted in due course to confirm whether or not you will be accepted into the Quicken Accreditation Course.
If accepted your attendance at the nominated course will be confirmed with you, and you will need to forward the completed application form and Accredited Trainer Terms of Trade agreement.
Once received, your completed application form will be processed and confirmation of your attendance will then be given.
Please note: successful completion of the Pre-Questionnaire is not a confirmation of your acceptance into the Accredited Trainer Course. Other issues such as the need for trainers in certain areas may preclude us from accepting applicants.
Accredited Trainer Course
Once the pre-accreditation exam has been successfully completed, your application to attend the course will be processed.
Investment $1,850.00 (including GST) per person.
The week-long course will consist of advanced product training in QuickBooks and Payroll Premier software, as well as sessions on Training Techniques, Marketing and other business skills to ensure that together we can make the most of our new business relationship. During the Accredited Trainer course you need to undertake practical assessments as well as complete an Accreditation examination for each product.
Quicken Training will mark your assessment and notify you of your result for each module you have completed the training in.
You will also be provided with an advanced Quicken CashBook Training Manual and examination. You will need to successfully complete the examination prior to gaining the status of Quicken Accredited Trainer.
The skills you will learn will enable you to confidently progress from trainee to trainer in Quicken's core business products.
Finally, prior to being accepted as a Quicken Accredited Trainer, you will need to sign the Quicken Accredited Trainer Terms of Trade Agreement.

Maintaining your Accreditation
Once you become a Quicken Accredited Trainer you will be required to maintain your accreditation. Annual membership fees for accredited trainers are currently $1190 pa.
Whenever a new version of QuickBooks, Payroll Premier or Quicken CashBook is released it is compulsory that you re-accredit (update your knowledge) by completing a compulsory Quicken product knowledge test, competency based skills test and/or participate in the beta test program on the relevant Quicken product.
Accredited Trainers must also fulfil our Continuing Professional Development requirements each year.

Additional Product Accreditation
As mentioned above, accreditation is initially provided in the core business products of the Quicken range – QuickBooks, Payroll Premier and Quicken CashBook.
You may also be interested in gaining accreditation in other Quicken products, such as Share-Analyser, Quicken Personal Plus or QuickBooks Point of Sale. Separate accreditation sessions are offered for these products from time to time, and we will notify all our Accredited Trainers when these sessions are scheduled. (They are often offered as part of the annual Accredited Trainer Conference).
