1. Is the API only for Premier? What about other versions of QuickBooks?
- The API functions equally with Pro, Premier and Enterprise.

2. Do all products in the QuickBooks range use the same integration techniques? ie., will the same methods of integration work across the range?
- The QuickBooks products which use the API identically are QB 2007/08 Pro, Premier and Enterprise. EasyStart, Accounting and Plus do not permit integration.

3. Does the $499 Annual Developer Kit Membership cover all versions of QuickBooks - both previous and, as yet, unreleased?
- The QuickBooks 2008/09 SDK only works with QuickBooks 2008/09. For developers requiring the software developers kit for previous versions, please contact sdk@quicken.com.au before applying for membership to ensure you get the right SDK version for your software requirements.

4. Is a QuickBooks Premier 2008/09 subscription included with the membership programme?
- Yes.

- 5-user subscription licence.

6. Can it work with the Asia version?
- Yes, though there may be some limitations.

7. Will software I code with the 6.1 version of the SDK work with previous versions of QuickBooks?
- SDK 6.1 integrates with the 2008/09 versions of Pro, Premier and Enterprise only.

8. Besides membership services (like support and marketing), are there other differences between the two versions?
- The SDK membership includes all of the API documentation and software as described in our SDK section. Marketing support is available in the SDP version of the SDK.

9. Is there an OBDC driver available for the Quicken product line which we can use?

11. Is there any integration documentation available?
- Australian documentation is available to financial members of the SDK program. You can also join the Intuit Developers Network for free at http://developer.intuit.com/QuickBooksSDK where you have access to documentation, coding samples, software and a developers' forum. Please note: you will require the AU documentation to complete integration to AU versions of QuickBooks.

12. Are there any support resources?
- Support is available via the Priority Developers' Line. Phone 1902 223 239 ($4.90 per minute), to get direct access to Quicken Developers.

13. Is it possible to obtain a single user licence rather than being required to purchase a full version of QuickBooks?
- You are not required to purchase a full version. The SDK provides a subscription version of QuickBooks Premier for $499 (plus postage and handling).

14. Are there any potential pitfalls or limitations when integrating software to our products?
- Limitations are discussed in the documentation available from Intuit and the AU SDK documentation.

15. Intuit in the US has just released SDK 6.0. Will it work with my coding and will I need it for QuickBooks 2007/08?
- Yes. The 2008/09 version QuickBooks has a new SQL based database model in line with the current US database. The Australian SDK 6.1 will replace SDK 3.0.
