Why become an Accredited Partner?
As an Accredited Professional Partner in one of our three partner categories - Consultant, Bookkeeper or Accountant - you receive leads from Reckon, directing customers who need extra hands on assistance. You also receive marketing and branding support, access to a variety of training and development and interaction with the Accredited Partner network. You are invited to attend our annual Accredited Professional Partner conference and can take part in Reckon events giving you greater exposure to the Reckon customer base.
How to become an Accredited Partner
Accredited Partners need to have a high standard of product expertise, as well as professional competence in their field which is controlled by membership pre-requisites. To become and remain an Accredited Partner, you must undergo initial product training and pass an exam that assesses your skills. You also take part in our professional development program including passing an annual re-accreditation exam.
The initial product training and accreditation exams are held across the country several times a year, dependant on demand.

Membership Pricing
To become an Reckon Accredited Professional Partner, you pay $1700 which includes your initial training and accreditation exams. There is a $1300 annual renewal fee to remain an Accredited Partner.
Who can become an Accredited Professional Partner?
Accountants – Accountants working in Public Practice or as a tax agent who are QuickBooks experts and can offer Accounting Services working with QuickBooks files
Bookkeepers – Independent or franchise bookkeepers who are QuickBooks experts providing services from basic bookkeeping through to BAS preparation
Consultants - Software training and implementation specialists who analyse client’s business needs and requirements and provide ongoing Reckon software support and training
Membership Pre-requisites
To give our customers confidence that they are being assisted by someone who has a high level of professional competence in their field as well as Reckon product knowledge, Accredited Partners must meet the following criteria:
- Accountants – member of the NIA/CPA/ICAA or equivalent
- Bookkeepers – Certificate III in Financial Services or equivalent

Consultants – Certificate III in Financial Services or an equivalent and the following units of competency from Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or their equivalent
- Design and develop learning programs TAADES402A
- Foster and promote inclusive learning environment TAAENV402A
- Facilitate individual learning TAADEL403A
- Facilitate work-based learning TAADEL404A
- Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills TAADEL301A
Reckon Accredited Professional Partner Accountant
If you are the QuickBooks expert within your Accounting firm, consider becoming an Reckon Accredited Professional Partner. Not only will you receive substantial product training, you’ll get leads from QuickBooks customers who are looking for an Accountant who can work with their software.
As part of the Reckon Accredited Partner network, you be able to interact with Accredited Consultants, Bookkeepers and Financial Planners and learn from their product experience.
To become an Accredited Accountant, you need to be a member of the NIA / CPA / ICAA or an equivalent industry body. You must also undergo product training and sit accreditation exams.

Reckon Accredited Professional Partner Bookkeeper
If you are an independent or franchise Bookkeeper and are looking to grow your business, consider becoming a Reckon Accredited Professional Partner. As an Accredited Bookkeeper you attend our Bookkeepers Bootcamp, an intensive training program designed to help bookkeepers adopt business growth strategies and realise their professional potential. You’ll be part of the Reckon Accredited Partner network, allowing you to interact with Accredited Consultants, Accountants and Financial Planners and learn from their product experience.
To become an Accredited Bookkeeper, you need to have achieved at least Certificate III in Financial Services, or its equivalent. You must also undergo product training and sit accreditation exams.

Reckon Accredited Professional Partner Consultants

To become an Accredited Consultant, you need to have achieved at least Certificate III in Financial Services or its equivalent AND Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. You must also undergo product training and sit accreditation exams.
